Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms are a binding agreement between you and Lexora Technologies OPC Private Limited covering your use of Lexora Interview — the desktop application, this website, and everything we provide through them. By creating an account or making a purchase, you accept them.
Last updated: 31 August 2026
1Who may use Lexora
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You may open one account, and you are responsible for everything done through it. Do not share your credentials — access is licensed to you personally, not to a group.
Keep your account details accurate. We may suspend or close accounts that appear to be shared, resold, automated, or registered with false information.
2Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Lexora on devices you control, for your own use, for as long as you hold a valid credit balance and comply with these terms.
You may not:
- Copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the software or your account access.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
- Circumvent metering, credit limits, licensing checks, or any technical restriction.
- Use automated means to create accounts, consume credits, or scrape the service.
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notice.
3Your responsibility for how you use it
This clause matters more than the rest, so please read it properly.
Lexora is a tool that transcribes audio you choose to capture and generates suggested text on your own screen. What you do with that suggestion is entirely your decision and entirely your responsibility.
Many employers, universities, certification bodies, recruiters and assessment platforms prohibit the use of assistance tools during interviews, examinations or assessments. Their rules, and the terms of any assessment you sit, are between you and them. It is your responsibility — not ours — to know what you are permitted to use and to comply with it.
You are solely responsible for any consequence that follows from your use of Lexora, including but not limited to withdrawal of a job offer, termination of employment, disqualification from a process, academic or professional disciplinary action, reputational harm, or any claim brought against you. We accept no liability for any of it.
You must also comply with all laws that apply to you regarding the recording, transcription and processing of conversations. In some jurisdictions this requires the consent of everyone on the call. Obtaining any consent the law requires is your obligation.
You agree not to use Lexora:
- Where doing so is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
- To impersonate another person, or to misrepresent your identity, qualifications or authorship in a way that constitutes fraud.
- To capture audio you have no lawful right to capture.
- In connection with any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing or harmful activity.
4Content you provide
You may upload documents such as a resume or job description. You keep all ownership of them. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service: to store, process and pass that content to our speech and language model providers so we can generate answers for you.
You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload anyone else's confidential information, or material you are not permitted to share.
5Generated output
As between you and us, you own the text Lexora generates for you and are free to use it. We make no claim to it.
Language models produce plausible text, not verified fact. Output may be inaccurate, outdated, generic, or wrong about your own history. It may also resemble output generated for other users, since we cannot make it unique. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you rely on it or repeat it aloud.
6Payment and credits
Prices are shown on the pricing page in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our payment partner; we do not store your card details.
Purchases are prepaid credits, delivered instantly, and are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: all sales are final, apart from the specific exceptions listed there. Nothing auto-renews.
We may change prices at any time. Changes never affect credits you have already bought.
7Availability
We aim to keep Lexora running but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. It depends on third-party speech recognition and language model providers, on your device, and on your internet connection — any of which can fail independently of us.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. If we permanently discontinue the service entirely, we will refund unused credits.
8No warranty
Lexora is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
Performance figures we publish, including our approximately 600ms time-to-first-word, are measured under our own test conditions and are indicative, not guaranteed. Your results will vary with your hardware, network and configuration.
We describe how our screen-capture exclusion works on our technical page. It relies on operating-system features provided by Apple and Microsoft. We do not warrant that it will behave identically across every OS version, configuration, or third-party application, now or in future, and we make no representation about software designed specifically to detect assistance tools.
9Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for loss of profits, opportunity, employment, income, goodwill or data, arising from your use of or inability to use Lexora — whether or not we were advised such loss was possible.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lexora Technologies OPC Private Limited, its officers and employees, against any claim, loss, liability or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Lexora, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse. Termination for breach forfeits unused credits without refund.
You may stop using Lexora at any time. Clauses 3, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 13 survive termination.
12Intellectual property
Lexora, the Lexora Interview name, logo, and all software, design and content on this site are owned by Lexora Technologies OPC Private Limited and protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a licence to use the service, not any ownership in it.
Third-party product names referenced on our comparison pages are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only for accurate identification and lawful comparative reference.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at TODO — your city, state have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any non-excludable right you have to bring proceedings elsewhere as a consumer.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the application before they take effect. Continuing to use Lexora after that means you accept the revised terms. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
15General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business. These terms, together with the Refund & Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us.
